I was offended when I saw this trailer tonight at the theater. So is Adam Sandler the only one that will make his movies because this one really looks to be taking the honor of worst Sandler movie ever and he's had some pretty bad ones. This seems to be worse than any Tyler Perry Movie and makes "Mrs. Doubtfire" look like a masterpiece. So I'm guessing even he is getting tired of his usual obnoxious character he usually plays in all his movies and now he thinks he should branch out and play his opposite as a female. What a horrible idea. Did you watch the the trailer for "Jack and Jill" before you read this? If you watched it, you don't need to read this blog. Hopefully you clicked away to EatABullet.com or at least went and looked for the Megan Fox posts now that I put the pictures back up. And how did Pacino end up taking a role in this movie? Anyway...just know that if you go see this movie, you're an asshole!

New Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers - I'm With You
Today the Red Hot Chili Pepper's new CD, I'm With You dropped on iTunes and Amazon today. The first single, "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" was released in late July I believe and is arguably the strongest single on the album. The concept for the video has been done before though. I was really hoping for something better. Again, the album is nothing close to Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic but it is still a great listen. I'm just about finished listening to it the first time though as I write this and it's exactly inline with the last couple releases from RHCP. "Even You Brutus?" and "Goodbye Hooray" are the only songs that really take me back to older Red Hot Chili Pepper tracks and "Happiness Loves Company" is definitely a Chili Pepper song, but it kind of has a Ben Folds feel to it. I like it! How often do you hear a piano in a Chili Pepper song? Probably more than I realize...I'm trying to pass as a diehard RHCP fan, but I only casually listen.
Oh, if you read this today, make plans to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers at your local movie theater. They are performing the entire CD along with some of their hits tomorrow and Wednesday (8/30/11 and 9/1/11) at selected theaters around the country. Check here to find a theater near you!

Music Review: The Asteroids Galaxy Tour
So we've all see the Heineken commercial called "The Entrance" where a party is taking place and the guy who we all wish we were shows up and instantly is the life of the party...bringing a guy who is wearing an eye patch an eyeball, playing guns with a large cowboy that looks like Lemmy, and ninja dancing with some Jackie Chan looking guy. But I never noticed any of this because my attention is always focused on the music playing in the background.
The band is The Asteroids Galaxy Tour and the song is called "The Golden Age". The Asteroids Galaxy Tour is a pop/rock band out of Denmark and looks to have only released one commercial album, Fruit (2009), that I can find. Their sound is unique, though I wouldn't call it something that is new. It's sort of a big band sound with a rock feel with the horns and piano and a heavy drum. The lead vocals of Mette Lindberg
is what really gets me. I'm a sucker for a good female vocalist. She uses some effects on her vocals, but it's still a very refreshing sound and goes well with the band. It doesn't hurt that's she's fairly attractive. Case in point...Susan Boyle. Look how far her looks took her...oof!
Fruit is one of those albums you can put on repeat and shuffle and not get tired of listening. You should instantly recognize "The Golden Age" and others will become instant favorites. "Inner City Blues" starts off kind of slow and mellow and the breaks into a nice beat. You may even recognize "Around The Bend". It was picked up by Apple to play in one of their iPod Touch commercials in 2008.
If you're looking for some new music...different than what is playing on your boring old FM station (if you have FM, spend the extra $12/mo and get SirusXM and save your soul), check these guys out. Put them on your MP3 player, your phone, tablet, whatever, and share with your friends. This is good music and Sancheezie HIGHLY recommends The Asteroids Galaxy Tour!

"Talkin' Shit w/ Jim Jefferies and Eddie Ifft"
So lately I have been getting into podcasts. I remember when the iPod first came out, podcasts were done mostly by people in their bedrooms talking about things that were only important to them...sorta like this blog and me. Now podcasts are becoming more and more popular since the Internet is readily available anywhere we go. Podcasts are hugely popular among comedians. Comedians are great and are my favorite entertainers (next to Joe Perry and Aerosmith of course) because they have stories to tell and they don't care if you want to hear them or not. They don't hold back anything and if they can get a laugh out of it, then it's worth the effort. Some of these podcasts have also reached out to streaming media on Ustream and other websites which add a visual element. Now a Ustream broadcast isn't necessarily a podcast, but it follows the same principals of podcasts; they are uncensored, done by ordinary people and celebrities and are virtually available anywhere.
I enjoy many different podcast, but listening to them takes up a lot of my time. I need to make sure I'm able to play Call of Duty (HoserIN--add me), watch "Wilford" and "Louis" on FX, and write these blogs....so I can't listen to them all. Some of my favorites are Joe Rogan's Ustream broadcast, which is also played on SiriusXM on the Virus, Mark Maron, Kevin Smith's Smodcast, and Talkin' Shit with Jim Jefferies and Eddie Ifft. There are others I'd like to listen to like Bill Burr's Monday Morning Podcast and Robert Kelly's podcast on Glory Hole Radio. I have listened to both and enjoyed them, but just haven't found the time yet. I have learned about these podcasts through SiriusXM on the Opie and Anthony Show and I'm slowing learning of others, but I just can't think of 'em right now. But out of all of the podcasts I listen to, my favorite is "Talkin' Shit" with Jim Jefferies and Eddie Ifft.
Both Jim and Eddie are comedians that live on the west coast that do two hour-long podcasts a week. They are really good at making sure they put new episodes every Tuesday and Thursday which makes it easier to listen. It's a semi-produced show with producers and interns (which I learned this week will all be called Roy...no matter what). They also have a third mic with Jason Auer who is pretty much a mooch but is currently selling hair coloring products. He's kind of the comic relief of the three. Odd, right? But the three of them work great together. They have great stories that always make me laugh and have a revolving door of guest such as Andy Dick, pornstar Kaylani Lei, and other fellow comedians. They don't do their show like a typical radio show...it's just an hour long hang at their house, also known as the Rape Cottage. They do have a special segment called the "Auer of Power" where Jason tries to hold down the show and interview the guest, but it's just douche chilling and rarely lasts more than a couple minutes. It makes me laugh every time. Sometimes you don't get all three hosts on the show since the two have to travel to do shows and Jason has to leave to sell hair products...or something gay like that. But you tend not to miss it when they are gone because the other two hold it down nicely and the guests they have fill the void. This podcast is a must if you're into listening to podcasts or just funny radio. Check them out here and become a regular listener. And if you start to like the show, drop 'em some cash. Not many people make money off these podcasts but they can be a bit costly to make. Plus, if you send $5000, you get to punch Jason!!!

Hola, Senors!
Since I removed myself from Facebook because it just causes me to hate people, I am going to start focusing my attention back to this thing. I stopped because Google lost my pictures and they have done nothing to correct it. So for now I'll stay on Blogger until I get a moment away from the NFL to find a new blog site or create one of my own. Did that even make sense? So until then, enjoy some pictures of cute things!!!
Wait...how did this get in here? ME GUSTA!
