So today I bring you the National Film Society. You're probably thinking the same thing I was...is this some sort of organization about historic preservation of films that none of us have seen or never will see? Nope...it's more about it's two creators Stephen Dypiangco and Patrick Epino. Their website describes the National Film Society as a "new media studio co-founded by filmmakers Patrick Epino and Stephen Dypiangco, who've decided to take their talents to YouTube. They produce original content, showcase amazing works, collaborate with talented creators and make fun of each other as much as possible."
I found them on Reddit and started watching their videos and couldn't stop laughing. The topics covered on their Youtube channel is mostly related to them being Filipinos, film, and the steps they have taken to get where they are now...which they joke isn't much. I could keep trying to describe what they do, but take a few minutes and watch their videos. BTW, I know nothing about Filipinos, but I'm pretty sure they are Mexicans. There must have been a boat full of Mexicans that got lost and ended up in the Philippines back in the day. Look at Patrick, doesn't he look like he could be my brother, if I actually looked Mexican?
